The final solution depends on the product being shipped, but our approach ensures that sustainability does not have to compromise reliable product protection. We can design solutions for your product or range using simple-to-source fibre-based material, which is easy to recycle anywhere in the world.
Is transport packaging classed as primary, secondary or tertiary?
Transport packaging may fall into any of these categories.
Primary packaging is the first layer, i.e. in direct contact with the product. This could be shipment-ready branded packaging, such as a printed corrugated carton.
Secondary packaging groups small quantities of product together for logistics, for example a plain brown outer carton that holds 6 primary packs.
Tertiary packaging is used to transport larger quantities of goods in primary or secondary packaging, for example a pallet or shipping container.
